Connect a domain you own, or buy one
Open the domain panel in the editor's Settings, enter the domain and add the records it shows; it usually connects within minutes. You can also buy a .com, .co, .io, .org or .net there.
Connect a domain you already own
Open the domain panel in the editor's Settings tab, enter the domain, and add the records it shows at your DNS provider. Typically that is a CNAME for www pointing to connect.pindrop.host plus a record for the bare domain; the panel names the exact type for your provider. If your DNS is on Cloudflare, the records must be "DNS only" (grey cloud, not orange) or the domain can never verify. Domains usually connect within minutes, sometimes up to an hour, and the panel shows live status.
Buy a domain inside Pindrop
The same panel searches names and shows the exact yearly price before you buy. Pindrop sells .com, .co, .io, .org and .net; a .com is usually in the low twenties of dollars a year. Country endings such as .co.uk, .de or .com.au are not sold inside Pindrop: buy those from any local registrar and connect them with the steps above, which works just as well.
