About Pindrop
Pindrop is an app for people who sell websites to local businesses. It shows you a map of the businesses around you, builds a finished website for any of them in a few minutes, and lets you walk in and show the owner their new site on your phone before you have said a word. If they want it, you set the price and publish it on the spot.
It runs on the web at pindrop.host and as an iPhone app on the App Store.
How it works
Find. The map marks every local business near you and shows which ones have no website yet. Those are the ones to walk into.
Build. Pick a business and Pindrop writes and designs a complete site from its name, category, photos, hours and reviews. You can start from a template, let the app choose one, or describe what you want and get a page designed from scratch.
Show. The site is ready to hand to the owner as a working preview, on their own temporary address, with a contact form that already reaches them.
Sell. You decide what to charge. Pindrop publishes the site, connects the owner’s domain, hosts it, and bills the owner for you every month. Editing a site you have built is free for as long as it is live.
Who makes it
Pindrop is made by its co-founders, Shawn Kosky and Nick Schin, and a small team. The iPhone app launched in July 2026 and the web app is where most people build today. Support is a person at support@pindrop.host.
