What is Pindrop?

Pindrop is a website builder for people who sell websites to local businesses: it maps the businesses near you, shows which have no website, builds a finished site in minutes, and bills the owner for you.

Pindrop is an app for people who sell websites to local businesses. It shows a map of the businesses around you, marks the ones with no website, builds a finished site for any of them in a few minutes, and lets you show the owner on your phone before you have said a word. If they want it, you set the price, Pindrop bills them every month, and you keep 90%.

It runs on the web at pindrop.host and as an iPhone app. The map covers most of the world. Sites are hosted, served and billed by Pindrop; you do not need hosting, a domain or a payment processor of your own.

  • Find. Drop a pin anywhere. Gold dots are businesses with no real website, green dots already have one.
  • Build. Tap a gold dot and Pindrop builds a site from the business's real name, address, hours, photos and Google reviews.
  • Show. Publish it, which is free, and hand the owner your phone or text them the link.
  • Sell. Set a build fee and a monthly price. Pindrop sends the payment link, bills the owner, and pays you 90% of everything.
