Building and editing sites in other languages
Sites can be set to any of 44 languages from the language bar in the editor, and the language new sites are built in is picked on the template screen and remembered.
The site language is set from the language bar above the tabs in the editor, and there are 44 of them. Switching it does two things: headings, buttons, form labels and the hours switch immediately, and the business's own words, the headline, blurb and service descriptions, are translated by a separate pass. That second pass is best effort; if it fails, the language bar says so and pressing the language again retries it. Every later AI edit is written in the site's language.
The language new sites are built in is separate. By default it is detected from the business's country, then your location. To set it for good, pick a language on the language chip on the template screen before building. That choice is remembered on that browser for every future build.
